Tangereel Films is a film and creative production house built around one simple idea: every story deserves its own language.
We work across film, advertising, branded content and visual storytelling, bringing direction, design, cinematography and creative thinking under one roof.
From the first thought to the final frame, we shape not just what a story looks like, but how it feels.
Tangereel is a space for stories, experiments, and everything creatively in between.
What we do
Four stages, one crew, start to finish.
Creative Direction
Every project starts as a conversation about what you are actually trying to say. We pressure-test the idea against the audience, the budget and the schedule, and turn it into something a crew can shoot.
Pre-Production
Script, storyboard, moodboard, locations, casting, and the contingency for the day it rains. Good pre-production is the reason a shoot day feels calm instead of heroic.
Expert Filmography
A crew sized to the job. Cinema cameras, lighting, sound and grip, on location or on a set, on the ground or in the air with our own drone and FPV team.
Post Production
Edit, colour grade, voiceover, VFX and motion graphics, subtitling and a proper audio mix, all in house. You leave with every cutdown and aspect ratio the campaign needs.
Founder's note
I'm Akash Rao, a filmmaker based in Bangalore.
I have always been drawn to stories, but also to everything around them. Images, music, design, people, spaces, and the small details that make a moment worth remembering.
Tangereel came from that curiosity. A space where an idea can begin as a conversation and end up as something people feel.
The best work happens when creativity is taken seriously, but never too seriously. Room to experiment, to get things wrong, to keep asking what if.
This is only the beginning.
